Up for sale...just in time for AMA Vintage Days is this excellent condition,1976 AW250 MAICO. Here's the details...Serial number is #Eng. m3211131. Frame #3260781. AW Serial numbers start 321 and 326. This bike is updated with: Renthal Handlebars, Magura Levers, Perches and Kill Switch; Whirlpull Throttle Assembly, Wheelsmith Foot Pegs and a PVL Digital Ignition...the plug is B8HV. Upfront is a Michelin Cross-Comp M12-90-90. Outback is a Dunlop D752110-100. Both tires mounted on original Arcront Rims and at about 95%. Wheels are true and rust free spokes. Suspension: Front Forks have been rebuilt and modified to achieve and additional inch of travel; from 8.7" to 9.7" inches. Seals and wipers are good. Outback, a pair of rebuilt to new condition, FOX Air Shocks. At 14" eye to eye, this increases the rear suspension to 8.5" to 9.5" inches. These shocks are near flawless and charged with nitrogen. Engine specs: Bore is at first over, 67mm with a Weisco Piston. The Bing Carburator is excellent and also included with it is every jet made for it to guarantee that you can run it in any climate or atlitude. A practically flawless OE Exhaust with two small dings in it and one small weld. UNI Air Filter. Engine fires two kicks cold, one warm and immdiately idles perfectly and shifts smoothly. A real nice feature included with this bike are two gas tanks. It has the OE GP Tank in near perfect condition for "show". In addtion, a useable OE Polyamid 2.3 gallon MC Tank as seen in the photos. Other extras include: Owners Manual, Service Manual, FOX Air Shocks Manual, Engine Seals, Wheelsmith stickers, Malcom Smith Vented Gas Cap, Complete set of Bing Jets and thick, clear, adhesive if you choose to cover the graphics on the GP Tank. The stand in the photo's is included. This motorcycle has the same linear power delivery as my 490.
